Dominated by the beautiful villages of Celenza Valfortore and Carlantino in the P.D.O. (Protected Designation of Origin) of the Sub Dauno, inland Garganico, the young farm “Le Camarde”, named after one of its most beautiful Contradas, covers land full of different kinds of olive trees, among them the “Rotondella”, the “Ogliarola Garganica”, the “Olivastra”, “Peranzana” and the “Gentile Nera”. All of them are local varieties, very typical of Gargano area.
The love for our land has motivated us to recover some abandoned olive groves, both rediscovering traditional agriculture activities and using new technologies, respecting trees and their natural biological cycle. The goal of “Le Camarde” Farm is to give value to its territory. We press the olives, manually collected from late October to early December, within 24 hours from their collection near their harvest’s place, by a Continuous Cold Cycle with three-phase technique.
Our values are passion for our work and commitment to growing an excellent product. We believe in a more genuine and healthier life-style and this is the reason we have great care toward the environment and the territory. Our products are for sensitive people to the food quality and safety, who want to discover and appreciate the true aroma and flavor.
